Operating Recommendations
- Place suitable clay firmly in the centre of the turntable.
- Create an opening in the centre with a pottery tool and gradually widen it.
- Use pottery tools to shape and trim the piece.
- Maintain an even rotation speed; excessive speed can throw clay from the wheel.
- Avoid adding too much water, as overly soft clay can be difficult to shape.
- The motor is relatively small, so excessive pressure can stop the turntable. Use pottery tools to assist with shaping.
